Trump had declared Wednesday, 5th December, 2018 as national day of mourning in honor of the 41st president of the United States, George Herbert Walker Bush who served from 1989 to 1993. George died on Friday, 30th November, 2018.
George HW Bush, who died at aged 94, was the 41st president of the US and father of the 43rd President of US. His death came approximately eight months after his wife Barbara died. They had been married for 73 years. Jim McGrath who is the family spoke person confirmed that George died shortly after 10pm on Friday.
In a statement released by White House spokeswoman, Sarah Sanders, US joined other nations in sending condolences to the family of George Bush. The statement partly reads: “The President and First Lady were notified late last night of President George H.W. Bush’s passing,” says “President Trump is scheduled to speak with President George W Bush this morning and offer his condolences on behalf of himself, the First Lady, and the entire country.
“A state funeral is being arranged with all of the accompanying support and honours.
“The President will designate Wednesday 5 December as a National Day Of Mourning.
“He and the First Lady will attend the funeral at the National Cathedral in Washington DC.”
The immediate past President of US, Barack Obama in his Twitter handle @BarackObama also twitted the following statement: America has lost a patriot and humble servant in George Herbert Walker Bush. While our hearts are heavy today, they are also filled with gratitude. Our thoughts are with the entire Bush family tonight – and all who were inspired by George and Barbara’s example.”
“Not merely for the years he spent as our forty-first President, but for the more than 70 years he spent in devoted service to the country he loved – from a decorated Naval aviator who nearly gave his life in World War II, to commander-in-chief of our Armed Forces, with plenty of posts along the way.”
Russian President, Vladimir Putin also described George as an outstanding Politician in his condolences message to George W Bush following the death of his father George HW Bush. This statement has been posted on the Kremlin website:

George born in June 12, 1924 used a wheelchair for the last six years of his life.
